Promise box

I have had this promise box sitting on my table sine 1985.  And today in the midst of conversation with my daughter it was pointed out that there are only partial scriptures on each card.  I replied that this is true. A promise taken from this box daily is not enough to grow you spiritually.

The Word of God taken and read daily, meditating on what it says and what it means to apply it in your life is what causes growth.

The promises of God are true, but if you do nothing to activate them they remain only a piece of paper. Don’t be satisfied with just the reading but apply the Word of God search it out with other scriptures and get the fulfillment of what God is saying to you.

Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
