Faith for the Vision

Proverbs 29:18 God said write the VISION: Mike and I know that the Lord has called us to encourage the families.  To be a support to pastors and their families as well. We have seen this place (an example place) where groups/families can come get equipped to better serve in their family roles.  A group/family would come to the farm, stay a couple of days and we would give them tools to use in building their relationships by practical application in wood/metal working, bread baking and farm work.

A template would be something like this: The home with a great room for greetings and direction, cabins on the property for guest.  The barn (BIG) would then be equipped with a gathering place of community tables and chairs for meals and classes. The end of the barn would have a commercial kitchen for meals and food instructions.  A big fire place with a place for coffee roasting, and a place for displaying the furnishings. The side of the barn will have a lean to on both sides with additional seating and strings of lights for larger events.  A green house and place for assembling floral arrangements for all occasions. We would have a work shop with wood/metal working to teach skills to build furnishings in a lesson of construction of all parts needed in the family unit as a parallel to the furniture they will be building.  We would share the story of our lives being restored in God together, God is such a loving Father, he wants His family to know He loves us. He Sets the Lonely in Families (Psalm 68:6).

We will become what we have vision to become. We will be counting the cost to bring this vision forward. God has the plan and we are praying for the full will of God to come to pass. As God directs us to where, when and how we will be obedient.

Note: The photo above is a close idea to what we are thinking of having, the big barn, the open floor plan of a home for our family with the great room to welcome the guest and show them to their private cabin.  In the photo you don’t see the workshop that will be needed to have wood/welding equipment and teaching space. The greenhouse is needed, room for gardens and animals to grow.   A pond or river on the property, and a outdoor kitchen on the back of the home with a big fire pit for those nights of smore’s and more. And a place for the guest to park.
