UPDATE

UPDATE We have been in contact with the Cheryl Tiemann Central District Director for Senator Lois W. Kolkhorst, who has been a great help in directing us to new resources.

We have completed paper work for Red Cross donated $2,000 toward the  BID for Septic.

They still need supplies, fence for dogs and and helping hands to work on building a porch: contact Brenda Bandy LeFan@ 361-463-2667 direct.  I am thankful for the people who have come together to help, I know God will complete this work with willing people.

Their Story: Since hurricane Harvey over a year now this family still need a home. They have been passed by because they are older adults with no children but still need a home. Brenda & Jimmy LeFan take care of her 82yr. old dad. They both work jobs in the Rockport area to support themselves. After the hurricane they came back to the rental home only to find that the roof damaged, but still the owner would not repair it. But worked and pulled enough together to put down on a piece of land and have this tiny house put on it. They have made progress and now have water and electric on the property, but it has no septic system in place.
