It may seem right to you but by what standard are we using the term right?

The truth is that the laws that govern this planet does not change, physical laws like gravity.  It’s the same for truth, we have moral laws that govern us as well.  Physical laws don’t change neither do moral laws.
People use feelings to determine right and wrong, if it feels good do it! But if it feels bad don’t.
They associate right= positive and wrong = negative
So if something brings pleasure it must be right. That sounds good so that’s why they look to their feelings to gauge, but the problem is our feeling change, they can’t be trusted.
Proverbs 16:25 There is a path that seems right for each person but it ends in death.
Somethings that feel good are wrong,

Experience is another common answer to right and wrong. People look to what they have experienced to determine what is acceptable and what’s not. They think right= positive and wrong = negative
If they do something and don’t experience anything negative then its right.
Example I had sex as a teen and I didn’t get pregnant, no STD’s for me so it’s okay.
My dad drank until he passed out in the chair every night he didn’t hurt me so i think drinking is okay.
Everyone’s experiences are not the same so it’s going back to the moral law:

Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the light….Jesus is the standard of how life should be lived.  Who He is and His characteristics is the standard for what is right. God never changes He is the same yesterday today and forever.
He is the same for all places, times and people.
