“I’m not a quitter. I’m a finisher.

Bethy called one evening this week , and we had just finished listening to a message by Keith Moore called Entering Your Wealthy Place: He had said Romans 1:16-17 The words God speaks to us and is revealed by faith. To expect revelation from God when you seek Him.

James 1:2-6
Faith responds with joy knowing that God is faithful to take us through in patience and endurance. Faith is a key to your wealthy place staying diligent to the end through faith and patience you inherit the promises of God.

Hebrews 6:11-12
So when you pray be expecting, counting it all joy patience is an expectant endurance of the promise to come don’t get weary you will reap don’t quit don’t be afraid of the future before all of faith with joy.

She called to let me know that she has had a meeting with her boss in Korea. The original contract was to end in July 2020, but she told Bethy,
“You have two options:

  1. Leave in a month
  2. Leave in a year and you have to change classrooms.

And you only have till the end of the day to respond to my options!”

The work environment is a divided work space because the Korean teachers do not associate with the foreign teachers (Bethy), and all but one other foreigner are not Believers, a worldly group of coworkers. A rumor came to Bethy saying one of the foreigners agree to stay longer in Korea if she can move to take over Bethy’s class…:(

So we shared the Word of God with her concerning Romans 1:16-17 The words God speaks to us and is revealed by faith. To expect revelation from God when you seek Him.
She said pray and lets agree, so I prayed these scriptures and agreed we are expecting an answer for direction from God.

A few minutes after we hang up Bethy sends a text saying: while my class was out, I decided to read my devotional today and this is what it says:

So that end of day Bethy meets with her boss and says, “I’m not a quitter. I’m a finisher. I’m gonna finish out the year wherever you place me. I’m trusting that God is faithful to take me through with patience and endurance. I am staying diligent to the end through faith. My trust is in God.”

Then she called me later to say, “Mom, I still want to throw up and my heart feels like it weighs 100 lbs but God’s gotten me through worse. If it was easy, I wouldn’t need Him.

These are real life circumstance put in Gods hands and He directed her. She believed He would answer her. We all have a God Ordained place, and it takes faith to step into that place.

Deep Roots Ministries International, Inc.

What does Deep Roots Ministries do? We encourage believers to grow spiritually in Christ by discipleship. Continuing the works Jesus did. How do we do that? We study God’s Word to develop a Biblical worldview. Scriptures identify God’s plan for our lives. God’s will to us is revealed in His Word. Together we spend time reading the Bible and studying the Truths of the Word of God. Where do you do this? In our home and others homes with family and friends (small groups), teaching videos, and meetings. Where we are invited to share. Colossians 2:6-7 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
