Humility or no humility? You chose your lifestyle….

Romans 1 God’s Anger Against Sinful Humanity

God’s invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly observed in what he made. As a result, people have no excuse….

They exchanged the glory of God for statues ….like mortal humans, birds, animals, and snakes, and because of this God allowed their lusts to control them.
These people have exchanged God’s truth for a lie.

They give in to shameful passions : women have exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones, men have given up natural sexual relations with women and commit indecent acts with men.

And because they thought it was worthless to acknowledge God…Their lives are filled with all kinds of sins, wickedness, and greed. They are mean, filled with envy, murder, quarreling, deceit, and viciousness, gossips, haters of God, haughty, arrogant, and boastful.

But quite a different story when you read :

1 Samuel 23-24 David clearly observed God’s commands and Saul had not.

David was perused by a man wanting to kill him. Saul knew he had disobeyed God and was going to be replaced as king.

David given the opportunity to take Sauls life doesn’t listen to people misquoting scriptures….. but listens to God instead.

Humility is not something you see or hear a lot about in this day. But still is expected of God’s TRUE children, HIS CHURCH.

Humility means a modest or low view of one’s own importance. You are not called to fulfill your dreams but God’s vision.

We can only come together except we agree…..Amos 3:3 on God’s Word and His Will.

Deep Roots Ministries International, Inc.

What does Deep Roots Ministries do? We encourage believers to grow spiritually in Christ by discipleship. Continuing the works Jesus did. How do we do that? We study God’s Word to develop a Biblical worldview. Scriptures identify God’s plan for our lives. God’s will to us is revealed in His Word. Together we spend time reading the Bible and studying the Truths of the Word of God. Where do you do this? In our home and others homes with family and friends (small groups), teaching videos, and meetings. Where we are invited to share. Colossians 2:6-7 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
