We pray for unity for your family and ours and so many others… it’s time to stop the division of the enemy and come together!

These instructions begin with an urgent warning against divisions between believers. Paul is deeply concerned that all those who are in Christ remain unified as a single body. He aims some of the harshest language in his letter against people who would cause divisions, especially those who do so by false teaching.

Romans 16:17: “I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.”

Romans 16:18: “Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words they deceive innocent people.”

Don’t think they are sincere Christians who are simply offering a slightly different view, perhaps a better understanding, of the same great truths. Paul rejects that idea. The false teachers he has in mind do not in any way serve Christ. Instead, they serve their own appetites.

Romans 16:19: “….but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.”….know the truth so thoroughly that you immediately recognize lying distortions of it!

Romans 16:20: “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.”

Now, in offering a hopeful truth, Paul associate these false teachers with the father of lies, Satan himself (Galatians 1:8–9). Paul’s final word on the subject seems to be that the God of peace will soon crush Satan under their feet.
In other words, the work of Satan among them will ultimately fail and God will prevail through His people!!!

In our home and others homes with family and friends (small groups), teaching videos, and meetings. Where we are invited to share. Colossians 2:6-7 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him.
