Here is an example; let’s examine your marriage: you can’t start a movement towards unity while getting a divorce. Is that laying down your life for them as Christ did for the church? Would that be honoring them?
If we cannot loving work together through conflict as a committed marriage should, how can we expect to do it in church with others we are not even as close to? 1 Timothy 3:5

There is a difference between loving the concept of a community versus loving the people who are actually in our community.

my prayer in writing this book has been that we as a church could come to our senses and all of the division and infighting as something contrary to Gods design. I pray that God‘s people could recover the love and unity that the Bible consistently emphasizes.

in the Bible leaders died living out the gospel, today people make a living talking about it instead…
