Chosen For Battle

Isaiah 41:9-10

You may say, I’m not in the military, not the government military, but you are called to service when you accept Jesus, as Lord of your life . And most service members are not always aware of the big picture when sent on assignments, we as disciples are also asked to step out without reasons and explanations. You must trust your commander (God).

It is helpful to view our circumstances through the lens of Scripture.

Isaiah 41:9-10

I have called you back from the ends of the earth, saying,

‘You are my servant.’
For I have chosen you

and will not throw you away. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

Following orders is one thing, but trusting God to help us complete our mission and fulfill our God-given purpose is another. But God’s Word assures us that we are chosen for the task at hand and equipped by God.

Additional scriptures to help you see God’s guidance

Psalm 23

Micah 6:8

We will continue our conversation with “Chosen For Battle” these next couple of post.
I believe we need to be prepared spiritually for our future. And to remind ourselves and our families that God has not forgotten us but actually has been preparing us for battle.

Deep Roots Ministries International, Inc.

What does Deep Roots Ministries do? We encourage believers to grow spiritually in Christ by discipleship. Continuing the works Jesus did. How do we do that? We study God’s Word to develop a Biblical worldview. Scriptures identify God’s plan for our lives. God’s will to us is revealed in His Word. Together we spend time reading the Bible and studying the Truths of the Word of God. Where do you do this? In our home and others homes with family and friends (small groups), teaching videos, and meetings. Where we are invited to share. Colossians 2:6-7 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
