Everyday Talk

We have a great responsibility as believers in the Lord.

I have been reading, and seeing many videos of how children’s lives have been saved by the Lord.

It’s important for parents to realize the gifts of our children that God has allowed us to have and that they originally belong to him.

Gods, reaching out to these children to show them, he is real. Our children, matter to the Lord. He has only let the children to us to raise them up for his glory.

“Love the Lord with all of our heart and with all of your soul and with all of your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk at along the road, when you lie down and when you get up” (Deuteronomy 6:5-9)

We cannot teach our kids anything about loving God if we do not love Him ourselves. Too many parents want to teach their kids to have Godliness by sending them to church; Christian school, practicing rights of passage and rituals, but they themselves live ungodly and immoral lifestyles.

Instruction in God’s word starts from birth: toddlers reading their picture Bible, a nine year old reading their children’s Bible in the car on the way to school, teenagers having personal devotions and reading their Bible app.

The reading of God’s Word needs to be enjoyable and expected for every member of the home for every season of life.

Talk about God through every day conversation. God’s real !

Have a God conversation: after watching a movie, listening to a song, making difficult decisions, helping a homeless person, after church services…. All These conversations reinforce that God is a part of our everyday lives, not just on Sunday morning.

Deep Roots Ministries International, Inc.

What does Deep Roots Ministries do? We encourage believers to grow spiritually in Christ by discipleship. Continuing the works Jesus did. How do we do that? We study God’s Word to develop a Biblical worldview. Scriptures identify God’s plan for our lives. God’s will to us is revealed in His Word. Together we spend time reading the Bible and studying the Truths of the Word of God. Where do you do this? In our home and others homes with family and friends (small groups), teaching videos, and meetings. Where we are invited to share. Colossians 2:6-7 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
