Real People matter.

Psalm 119:133-134
Establish my footsteps in [the way of] Your word;
Do not let any human weakness have power over me [causing me to be separated from You].
Redeem me from the oppression of man; That I may keep Your precepts.

The pace of the world has complicated our lives and stolen our time with screens, apps, and binge-watching. When we think back just twenty years, it’s shocking to realize where we are today in relation to the way we communicate and the things that monopolize our free time.

God gives us the days; we choose how to fill them. “Whoever wants to embrace life and see the day fill up with good, here’s what you do: . . . run after peace for all you’re worth”
I Peter 3:10

God created us to cultivate relationships. If we get caught up in catching up on all the newsreels and television shows, we miss the things God wants us to see—people, even our own, who need encouragement, hope, and a hug, or the elderly person at the grocery store who needs a hand or even a second of eye contact to let them know they’re not alone in this world.

Real people really matter.

“Rivers of tears gush from my eyes because people disobey your instructions.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭136‬ ‭

Deep Roots Ministries International, Inc.

What does Deep Roots Ministries do? We encourage believers to grow spiritually in Christ by discipleship. Continuing the works Jesus did. How do we do that? We study God’s Word to develop a Biblical worldview. Scriptures identify God’s plan for our lives. God’s will to us is revealed in His Word. Together we spend time reading the Bible and studying the Truths of the Word of God. Where do you do this? In our home and others homes with family and friends (small groups), teaching videos, and meetings. Where we are invited to share. Colossians 2:6-7 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
