“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭

As the sun sets behind arid desert hills, it casts a warm orange glow over the land. The air is thick with the weight of a life-altering decision – to leave behind the familiar and step into uncertainty. Can you trust God enough to take a leap of faith?

This is where Abraham found himself when God called him to leave his homeland. His choice? To trust in God’s promise to make him the father of a great nation, despite him being childless and ‘past his prime’.

Like Abraham, we may face moments of uncertainty where the future seems unclear. We’re unsure how God will both meet our needs and keep his promises. But by placing our trust in God, we can confidently expect to experience God’s faithfulness and provision, just as Abraham did.

“The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭

And as we know, the Lord eventually did fulfill His promise to Abraham, turning him into a great nation and blessing his descendants (Genesis 15:5). Eventually, Jesus would come through the line of Abraham, bringing us the greatest blessing of all: eternal life. It’s amazing how much God can do, even with faith the size of a mustard seed!

Deep Roots Ministries International, Inc.

What does Deep Roots Ministries do? We encourage believers to grow spiritually in Christ by discipleship. Continuing the works Jesus did. How do we do that? We study God’s Word to develop a Biblical worldview. Scriptures identify God’s plan for our lives. God’s will to us is revealed in His Word. Together we spend time reading the Bible and studying the Truths of the Word of God. Where do you do this? In our home and others homes with family and friends (small groups), teaching videos, and meetings. Where we are invited to share. Colossians 2:6-7 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
