Jesus Loves Me

Jesus / Loves / Me / This I know / For the Bible tells me so.

Christianity is that simple at its core if we know what those words mean.

JESUS—What I believe about Jesus

Jesus is fully God and fully human, the Messiah.

LOVES—What I believe about God’s love, proven on the cross

Jesus came into our world on a rescue mission. He died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead.

ME—What I believe about myself

Every human is both glorious—and ruined. We are made in the image of God but contaminated by sin. Where evil has corrupted us, Jesus can restore us into a “new creation.”

THIS I KNOW—What I believe to be sure of my salvation

We cannot earn salvation, but we must use our will to admit our need (repent), acknowledge Jesus as God, and believe in His work on the cross.

FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO—What I believe about God’s standard for my life

We choose the Bible as the unchanging standard for all we do and believe because Jesus is our example. We must read and obey the Word of God to realize our identity in Christ.

”He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me. The Lord rewarded me for doing right; he restored me because of my innocence. For I have kept the ways of the Lord; I have not turned from my God to follow evil.“
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭

”The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.“
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭32‬:‭8‬ ‭

Deep Roots Ministries International, Inc.

What does Deep Roots Ministries do? We encourage believers to grow spiritually in Christ by discipleship. Continuing the works Jesus did. How do we do that? We study God’s Word to develop a Biblical worldview. Scriptures identify God’s plan for our lives. God’s will to us is revealed in His Word. Together we spend time reading the Bible and studying the Truths of the Word of God. Where do you do this? In our home and others homes with family and friends (small groups), teaching videos, and meetings. Where we are invited to share. Colossians 2:6-7 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
