Welcome to Deep Roots Ministries

What does Deep Roots Ministries do?

We encourage believers to grow spiritually in Christ by discipleship. Continuing the works Jesus did.

How do we do that?
We study God’s Word to develop a Biblical worldview. Scriptures identify God’s plan for our lives. God’s will to us is revealed in His Word. Together we spend time reading the Bible and studying the Truths of the Word of God.

Where do you do this?
In our home and others homes with family and friends (small groups), teaching videos, and meetings. Where we are invited to share.

Colossians 2:6-7 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.

His one and Only

December 5, 2023

Jesus left heaven and came to earth as a man to pay the price for all of humanity’s sins. Jesus didn’t come to earth because He was mad at our sins but because He was in love with the sinners. God gave His very best to rescue us. We are not an afterthought to God.…

Plans?

December 1, 2023

Are there ever times you feel out of control or uncertain about God’s plan or timing? The world God created for us is not by chance or in chaos. God’s specific and intentional design holds the universe and the world in which we live in perfect harmony and peace. It’s important to remember that your…

God gave you an identity…

November 30, 2023

You are not just an evolved animal or a cosmic explosion; you have been intentionally handcrafted by God to be in relationship with Him. No other being on earth has that honor. This is why we refer to God as our heavenly Father, because He created us. You have God’s identity, which is why humanity…

The Right Job, is God’s Purpose.

November 17, 2023

Colossians 3:23-24 exhorts, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” As believers, our lives are not merely a series of…

Use Your Gift to Serve Others

November 15, 2023

Our role as stewards is not to exploit or dominate, but to nurture and bring about flourishing. By wisely managing our resources, using our gifts to serve others, and making choices that honour God’s principles, we participate in His redemptive work. Let us remember that as we embrace stewardship, we align ourselves with God’s plan…

Getting to Your Purpose

November 10, 2023

When you feel nudged or pulled toward a specific work or develop a passion for serving in a particular way, your Creator is reaching out to show you how he made you – why he made you, and to invite you to fulfill your purpose. When the nudge doesn’t go away, it’s not a nudge;…

The Importance of Encouragement

May 28, 2021

Hezekiah was one of the Old Testament’s last good kings. He lived in a difficult time 2 Chronicles 32. In the first part of our chapter Hezekiah is busy fixing walls, securing water supplies and stocking up the armory. Like us today, busy with life. But over and above all these practical arrangements, Hezekiah does…

If I could say 3 things to you, would you listen? Asked, Mike

March 30, 2019

I have had the opportunity to learn and grow much. But I need you all to know that I would not be who I am without all of you. Because you have loved me and been there, it set the stage for me to get to know Who God is, and who I am! I…
